Job Description:

The Storekeeper is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, spare parts, and equipment within the warehouse. The role ensures that inventory is accurately recorded, properly stored, and readily available to support mining, maintenance, and operational activities. The Storekeeper maintains inventory control, ensures compliance with company procedures, and supports efficient warehouse operations at the mine site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
  • Safely store materials, spare parts, and equipment in designated warehouse locations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management or ERP system.
  • Issue materials and spare parts for maintenance, operations, and other departments as requested.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and participate in cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Ensure proper labeling, identification, and organization of stock items.

What AMAK Looks For

  • Diploma or certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in warehouse or storekeeping roles, preferably within mining, heavy equipment, or industrial environments.
  • Experience handling spare parts, consumables, and maintenance materials.
